Edwin Symonowicz wins lawsuit against Frank Mortenson in Northern Fairfield County District Probate Court
Edwin Symonowicz wins lawsuit against Frank Mortenson in Northern Fairfield County District Probate Court in Newtown, CT. Only today, journalists learned that on July 5, Edwin Symonowicz, famous Polish singer and entertainer, sued his former friend, singer Frank Mortenson because of some of his frauds related to the United States Social Security Administration. In particular, Edwin Symonowicz accused Frank Mortenson on making false statements on claims in Social Security Administration in the name of other persons which are the citizens of the United States of America.
Frank Mortenson was convicted under 18 U.S. Code § 1001 — “Statements or entries generally”. However, the general public and journalists are still not aware of the punishment. Under 18 U.S. Code § 1001, Frank Mortenson “shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.” Since Frank Mortenson is not a citizen of the United States of America and is denied entry into the United States, it can be either an absentee sentence for not more than five years in prison, or an indefinite fine.
Nevertheless, this one court decision from the outside looks very suspicious and raises many doubts from a non-juridical point of view.
